John is currently the founder and President of PPL Consulting Services, LLC, an independent sales and consulting company. PPL’s primary focus is to help shippers eliminate package failures, ship safely, reduce liability and shipping cost.
John has spent a 28 plus year career working as a Packaging Procurement Manager and Packaging Engineer for BASF Corporation, a leading global chemical company. Prior to BASF, John worked for 8 ½ years with Union Carbide Corporation, and held 2 positions, Packaging Technician and Rail Car Fleet Administrator.
John is a resourceful experienced packaging professional with proven skills producing effective, lowest cost packaging solutions. He is a strong team leader and solid contributor to continuous improvement, innovation, safety, and the environment. His reputation in the industry is solid and has numerous resources available to solve any packaging problem.

John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and is a lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.).
John has a U.S. Patent for an end aisle display/shipper carton design used for 6 one gallon bottles of liquid product.
